Skyline student Jorja Harrison was selected as the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Department of Missouri, Voice of Democracy audio-essay program winner. She is a freshmen and will represent Missouri at the national competition in July in Kansas City. The national first place winner receives a $30,000 scholarship paid directly to the recipient's American university, college or votec school of choice. Jorja received more than $2,000 in awards at the post, district, and state level.
