Missouri Middle School Championships at Lucas Oil Speedway (Unofficial State Meet) brought our kids some stiff competition on a 2 mile course.
JH Boys XC
209 runners in the boys class 1-2 race. The JH Boys XC team was led by Nathan Dampier, who in an earlier meet set the new JH school record for time, finished 59th with a time of 13:48.21. Finishing close behind were fellow teammates Isaac Acker 120th, 15:05.47, and Isaiah Acker 125th, 15:10.10.
JH Girls XC
The girls, who have won several meets this year entered a racing field of 138 runners. Three Skyline Lady Tigers finished in the top 20. Roma Phillips medaled in 11th place with a time of 14:17.95, Piper James hot on her heels medaled in 12th, 14:19.54, Daylee Phillips medaled in 16th place, 14:25.07. Skyline Ladies Jayden Hooper 47th, 15:35, Kinzlee Moorehead 92nd, 17:43.32, and Kira Chisholm right behind her in 97th, 17:57.62 all contributed to the final team score with their top 100 finishes.
The Skyline JH Lady Tigers earned 2nd Place overall at the State JH Championships!
